ADA Viewing:
ADA accessible viewing is located next to Turn 14 and adjacent to Lot E.

ADA Parking:
ADA parking is located onsite in Lot D and also adjacent to the ADA viewing area in Lot E. Click here to locate the ADA parking areas.

Shuttle Service:
Spectators needing assistance can call ,205-703-6580, our on-site ADA shuttle to move throughout the Park. These shuttles will run from 7:30 am to 1 hour after conclusion of last track activity.

Tram Service:
Trams will run from 7:30 am to 1 hour after conclusion of last track activity. ADA accessible trams are available throughout the weekend.

Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport is located about 14 miles from the Barber Motorsports Park. For more information, please visit flybirmingham.com.

Alcoholic beverages will NOT be served or sold to anyone under the age of 21 years. There shall be NO consumption of alcohol on the shuttles from any of the parking lots. Barber Motorsports Park has a strict NO GLASS policy.

The Museum will be open on Friday, April 26 from 8am-5pm and Saturday, April 27 & Sunday, April 28 from 8am-6pm. EVENT TICKETS DO NOT INCLUDE ADMISSION TO THE MUSEUM. Please see below for admission prices:

  • Adults: $20
  • Children (4-12): $15
  • Children 3 & under: FREE
  • Weekend Pass (April 26-28): $30

  • Animal policy 
    • Dogs and service animals are the only animals permitted in Barber Motorsports Park. 
    • Owners are responsible for ensuring dogs are in sight and leashed/ harnessed at all times. 
    • Owners are required to provide their own waste clean-up supplies and responsible for immediately cleaning any waste left by their dog. 
    • Owners are not permitted to tie up dogs and leave them alone. 
    • Service animals are allowed inside buildings and restrooms.
    • Non-service animals are not allowed inside buildings or restrooms. 
    • Owners are required to muzzle or remove dogs with incessant barking. 
    • Any dogs showing unfriendly, violent, or overly protective behaviors are required to leave the premises. 
  • Spaces are approximately 50′ X 25 ‘ (Hilltop RV), 40′ X 20′ (RV), or 20′ X 20’ (Tent) and include 1 parking pass for 1 tow vehicle. 
  • Tow vehicles must fit within your allotted camping space. 
  • Each person age 16 and above must have a 3-day race ticket in their possession each time they enter the campground. 
  • Campers that choose to leave the Park and return after hours must have their 3-day race ticket and tow vehicle pass in their possession upon re-entering the Park gates. 
  • No electrical or water hookups available. 
  • Campfires must be self-contained and a minimum of 6″ off the ground. 
  • No offroad vehicles or 4-wheelers. 
  • Skateboards, roller blades, roller skates, razor scooters, hover boards and any similar type items are prohibited at Barber Motorsports Park. 
  • Bicycles are allowed in camping areas – helmets are REQUIRED. 
  • Permanent restroom and shower facilities are available in the Paddock and across from Lot E. 
  • Quiet hours will be enforced from 8:00pm to 8:00am. 

Food trucks will be located in the Fan Zone, Garage, Turns 2/3 Hillside and Turns 15/16 Hillside.

Cashless Concessions
The only way to pay is to SWIPE! You can pay one of two ways:

  • Debit card
  • Credit card

Spectators are allowed to bring coolers onsite with the understanding that all coolers are subject to reasonable inspection before entering and/or anytime throughout the weekend. NO GLASS is allowed.

For your safety, comfort and viewing pleasure, ear protection is advised for all spectators. To purchase yours, visit the Guts Wear merchandise booths located in the Fan Zone.

Spectators in need of medical attention should visit the Grandview Medical Center tent located in the Fan Zone. In case of an emergency, please call 205-645-2505.

Gates will open at 7:30 am CT each day and close 1 hour after the last race of the day ends.

The Garage caters to race enthusiasts, offering a close-up experience with INDY 500 cars and drivers. It’s the working hub for race teams, revealing behind-the-scenes preparations for this prestigious motorsport event.

Lost and Found is located in the ZOOM Motorsports office in the back part of Lot E by Volunteer Headquarters.  You can visit the ZOOM office from 8am-5pm CT during race weekend or call the hotline at 205.645.2505. Click here to view map.

Active, reserved, and retired military personnel will receive complimentary General Admission on Friday courtesy of John 3:16 as a token of our gratitude for their service and sacrifice. 
 
Military personnel can enjoy a 10% discount on tickets for Saturday and Sunday, allowing them and their families to experience all the excitement our event has to offer at an exclusive rate.

  • No jumping fences. 
  • No roping areas off or scaffolding of any kind. 
  • No distribution of flyers or handbills without expressed or written permission from management. 
  • Obey posted speed limits – where not posted otherwise, speed limit is 15 mph on Perimeter Road and 5 mph in the Garage. 
  • Place all trash in proper trash receptacles. 
  • Golf carts, four wheelers, pit cars, pit bikes, bicycles, and other pit vehicles are permitted ONLY in the Garage – common sense and care must be applied in their use. 
  • All drivers/riders of pit vehicles must carry a valid driver’s license. 
  • Pit vehicles must operate ONLY on paved surfaces.
  • Motorized vehicles operating outside the Garage must be street legal. 
  • Helmets must be worn on Perimeter Road when operating two-wheeled vehicles. 
  • Minors are NOT permitted to operate bicycles. 
  • Parent must accompany minors at all times while in the Garage area. 
  • No alcohol allowed in the Garage. 
  • No smoking around team areas or fueling areas. 
  • No hammocks anchored into any trees. 
  • No tent or shade structure of any kind allowed on the backstretch. 
  • Tents are permitted ONLY on Turn 2/3 and Turn 15/16 hillsides above the marked areas. 
  • Smoking in any building is strictly prohibited. 
  • Do not throw extinguished cigarettes on the ground. 
  • Do not damage grassed areas. 
  • Campfires must be self-contained and a minimum of 6″ off the ground. 
  • Charcoal grills are allowed ONLY in camping areas. 
  • Propane grills are allowed in the Garage and camping areas. 
  • No spectators allowed on track without expressed or written permission from management. 
  • No stakes of any kind may be driven into paved surfaces – care must be taken when vehicle jacks are used to prevent the jack from sinking into a paved surface (such as placing a large enough piece of wood under the jack so that the weight is distributed over enough area that the pavement will not get “dented”). 
  • Kickstands on asphalt must have something under them to distribute the weight. 
  • Cameras, lawn chairs and blankets are permitted. 
  • Coolers are permitted but are subject to search by management. 
  • Abusive/offensive behavior or vandalism could result in ejection and/or arrest. 
  • No flags or banners deemed offensive or inappropriate will be allowed (Confederate flag, etc.) 
  • All federal, state, and local laws must be obeyed. 
  • The following items and actions are prohibited: 
    • Distribution of unauthorized promotions 
    • Drone 
    • Fireworks, explosives or other incendiary devices 
    • Glass containers 
    • Illegal substances
    • Items that may be deemed a safety hazard to participants (balls, frisbees, balloons, whistles, laser pointers, etc.)
    • Skateboards, hoverboards, roller skates, roller blades, razor scooters or similar item
    • Weapons of any kind including guns, knives, pepper spray, handcuffs, nightsticks or other items

Bring along an outdoor blanket or chair to relax and take in the excitement of the races from one of our hillsides or next to the Fan Zone. Grandstand seating is also offered on a first-come, first-served basis in the Fan Zone.   Feel free to set up pop-up tents on our hillsides, but we kindly ask that you remain considerate of fellow attendees and keep your tents behind the marked signage. Click here to view map.

ADA accessible trams are available throughout the weekend. The trams allow access to the following areas:

If inclement weather is approaching, special public address announcements will be made. Spectators will be made aware of the impending weather or advised to take immediate precautions prior to the race being suspended. Racing will continue promptly after the weather clears. In case of severe weather, you can take shelter in the following areas:

  • In your vehicle
  • Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum
  • Shower tower in the Garage (Tiers 2 and 3)
  • Garages in the Race Control building
  • Permanent buildings in Lot E
